Tioga County Fire Coordinator John V. Scott was lost in the line of duty on July 20, 2016. He was a past chief and 46-year member of the Campville Fire Department. Scott served NYSAFC as a committee member and chairman for 17 years.
 
Chief Thomas Cain served with the Scarsdale Fire Department for 32 years and was a NYSAFC board member since 2012.
