Join NYSAFC and the Islip Town Fire/EMS Museum at Nassau Coliseum from February 2-4! The 2024 event will include over 120 vendors, plus eight seminars presented by industry leaders, Forcible Entry Hands-On Training, and classes for junior firefighters. Registration is $25 daily for the expo and seminars. Parking is free. Be sure to download our show app, available on site!

Registration is open for NYSAFC Regional Hands-On Training programs in the following counties: Broome, Clinton, Erie, Herkimer, Monroe, Nassau, Saratoga, and Schenectady, plus Niagara in conjunction with the FASNY convention! Courses include Beyond the Basics, Fire Behavior On the Inside, and Flashover. Agencies interested in bringing training to their region should submit a Host Request Form, available for each course. A limited number of weekends remain for training in 2024.

The New York State Fire Service Alliance has announced its legislative initiatives for 2024. The alliance consists of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs, Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York, County Fire Coordinators' Association of the State of New York, Firefighters Association of the State of New York, New York State Fire Marshals & Inspectors Association, and Volunteer Fire Police Association of the State of New York.

The deadline for submitting required materials is April 1, 2024. The program includes the NYSAFC Scholarship, Chief Neil McNeight Hands-On Training Award, Chief Fred Singer Fire Educator of the Year Award, James Wright Public Education Award, and New York State Fire Chief of the Year Awards.
