NYSAFC has announced the rescheduled dates for the 2020 Seminar Series programs that were postponed in the spring. The new dates for "Hoarder House Fires: Our Worst Nightmare" with Lieutenant Tim Klett (FDNY) in the following counties are: Chautauqua (October 12), Clinton (September 29), Fulton (October 1), Rensselaer (November 30), and Wyoming (October 7). Seminars are also scheduled for Chemung (October 15), Erie (October 6), Nassau (September 24), Oneida (September 28), Onondaga (October 20), Otsego (September 23), Rockland (October 19), and St. Lawrence/Franklin (September 3) Counties.

Registration is open for the FREE three-hour workshop, "Fire/EMS Behavioral Health: The Price We Pay," presented by Past Chief Mike Healy (Central Nyack Fire Department) and Chief Jared Meeker (Lake Shore Fire District). The workshop series, offered by NYSAFC in partnership with PERMA, was set to debut in the spring but was postponed due to COVID-19. Workshops are scheduled for Chautauqua (September 30), Clinton (September 14), Fulton (November 10), Monroe (September 15), Nassau (September 21), and Westchester (November 5) Counties. Rescheduled dates for the workshops in Herkimer and Schenectady Counties are forthcoming.

Fire Behavior on the Inside is coming to Oneida County on August 22-23. This intense program, featuring eight hours of live fire training, is also scheduled for Ulster County on October 24-25. Flashover programs in Erie (September 26-27) and Ulster (March 20-21, 2021) Counties have been added to the NYSAFC training schedule. Other sites for Flashover include Franklin (September 12-13), Rensselaer (October 17-18), Saratoga (October 10-11), and Wayne (September 19-20) Counties. A rescheduled date for Orleans County is forthcoming.
