There are over 300,000 miles of transmission lines carrying liquid natural gas (LNG) across the U.S., and over 1.8 million miles of local distribution lines. The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has produced a LNG training video for fire chiefs and personnel who may have a part in the planning and response to LNG incidents.
