Intermountain Electric, Inc. Announces New Hires

Intermountain Electric, Inc., an AGC of Colorado Building Chapter and Inland Northwest Chapter AGC member, recently announced the addition of Greg Matthews as building information management / virtual design construction (BIM / VDC) manager and Stephen Kimsey as director of service and special projects.

Matthews is responsible for leading the effort in the development and implementation of BIM standards, evaluating new BIM related technologies and staying informed of best practices. Matthews has over 35 years of experience as a third generation architect, builder and developer with experience ranging from simple single family residential to 80+ story luxury high-rises.

Kimsey will be responsible for its operations and profitability, including budget development, growth planning and risk management. Kimsey brings over 30 years of experience in the electrical and teledata construction industries to IME.

Kimsey most recently served as Denver operations manager for an electrical construction company in Colorado. He also formed Kimsey Electrical Contracting in 1996, which was acquired by an electrical company in Colorado in 2003.
