Cadence McShane Completes Scottsdale Crossing Building One

Srinath Pai Kasturi, LEED AP, vice president - general manager of Cadence McShane Construction Company, a Houston Chapter and TEXO member, recently announced that the firm has completed the construction of Scottsdale Crossing Building One, a new 27,500 sq-ft light industrial/office/flex speculative development on behalf of developer, TIG Real Estate Services, Inc.
The facility was constructed on an eight-acre site located at 5900 Highway 183-A within TIG Real Estate Services, Inc.’s Scottsdale Crossing Commerce Park in Cedar Park, Texas. Cedar Park has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing suburbs in America and is located just 17 minutes from downtown Austin. The city has grown by more than 400 percent in the last decade.
Cadence McShane constructed the single-story facility utilizing a tiltwall panel exterior accented with attractive glazing elements. The building also includes aluminum windows, overhead dock doors and a 5:1,000 parking ratio. With tenant space available from 1,560 to 27,500 square feet, the building offers the flexibility to support either a single- or multi-tenant environment. Sitework consisted of the building’s parking and sidewalk areas, service drive, retaining walls, a water quality pond and low impact, xeriscaped landscaping.

Scottsdale Crossing Commerce Park features a Triple Freeport Tax Exemption designation and provides convenient access to the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and Cedar Park Center, a world-class sports and entertainment venue within central Texas. Austin-based Studio 8 Architects provided the architectural services for the assignment.
