Master Builders' Association of Western Pennsylvania Joins Coalition to Promote Area Jobs

The Master Builders' Association of Western Pennsylvania (MBA) is working with the local Pittsburgh business community to promote job recruitment and retention in the region. The coalition spearheading the efforts - the Allegheny Conference on Community Development - created ImaginePittsburgh.com, a searchable job listing platform that promotes opportunities throughout the 10 counties of southwestern Pennsylvania. For the construction industry there are two primary landing pages: The Builders Guild site promotes the labor employment opportunities and the Master Builders' Association page which features the professional positions in the construction industry. Additionally, ImaginePittsburgh.com created a video on careers in the building trades. MBA also teamed with the Allegheny Conference recently to host an informational seminar on how to effectively use images in a company's social media plan. Click here to access the PowerPoint presentation.
