The AGC of Virginia recently announced election of officers for 2013:
Jack Dyer, Jr. of Gulf Seaboard General Contractors in Ashland has been elected as chairman of the board. Kevin Willis of Faulconer Construction in Charlottesville has been elected as vice chairman of the board. Glenn Thompson of W.M. Jordan Co. in Richmond has been elected as vice chairman-elect of the board. Stanley E. Binsted of R.E. Lee & Son in Charlottesville will serve as immediate past chairman.
Dyer has served on the Board since 2008. He was president of AGC’s Richmond District in 2000, and currently serves on the District’s Executive Committee. He was also president of the Virginia Construction Industry Educational Foundation (VCIEF) in 2012.
Willis has served on the board since 2010. He was president of AGC’s Piedmont District in 2009, and previously served on the district’s Executive Committee and as district treasurer.
Thompson has served on the Board since 2009, was president of AGC’s Richmond District in 2008, and currently serves on the District’s Executive Committee.
Glenn is a founding member and Chairman of the ACE Mentor Program of Central Virginia, a nationwide program designed to introduce high school students to the wide range of career opportunities open to young people in architecture, construction, engineering, and related areas of the building design and construction industry.
Associated General Contractors of America
