Intermountain Electric, Inc. Announces New Hire
Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) recently announced the selection of David Hoyt as director of preconstruction. In his new role, Hoyt will focus on the acquisition of new business, specifically major projects. During his 19-year career in the construction industry, he has worked on electrical construction and design-build projects in every industry. He will be instrumental in providing the highest level of leadership and technical expertise to clients at IME, an AGC member in four states.

Hoyt’s progressive experience in the construction industry ranges from positions as chief estimator to pre-construction services manager in addition to a three-year tenure as owner / president of an electrical construction company in Michigan. He holds the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Accredited Professional certification, a benchmark for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. Actively involved in the construction industry, he attends events and meetings of the Association of General Contractors of Colorado (AGC/C) and previously held the position of president in the Las Vegas chapter of the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE).
