C.F. Jordan and Paul Foster Form Jordan Foster Construction
C.F. "Paco" Jordan, chairman of CF Jordan Construction, LLC, an AGC member of multiple Texas chapters, and Paul L. Foster, through his company Franklin Mountain JFC, LLC, recently announced the formation of a new company, Jordan Foster Construction, LLC.
The new company will be led by three partners, Jordan, Foster, and Darren Woody. Woody will serve as president and CEO. Franklin Mountain JFC is a privately held company owned by Paul Foster, executive chairman of Western Refining, Inc., an Associated Contractors of New Mexico and an AGC of Texas Highway, Heavy, Utilities & Industrial Branch member.
"I’ve known Paul for a long time and have served with him on numerous boards and committees," said Jordan. "He’s a great citizen of El Paso and well respected across Texas. I am very pleased that we could join together and develop a new company, which will continue the legacy of CF Jordan Construction." Jordan said the creation of Jordan Foster Construction is the result of his desire to establish a succession plan and ensure the longevity of the company he founded in 1969. "This is the right time, with the right people, and I am confident that Paul’s exceptional passion and vision will help us take Jordan Foster Construction to the next level."
Paul Foster, who founded Western Refining in 1997, said he is forming the new company with Jordan and Woody "to continue a personal focus on building and to be involved in the construction of enduring, quality assets." He explained, "As I began making investments in the Mills Plaza District in downtown El Paso and then the Fountains at Farah lifestyle shopping center, I gained a great respect for the construction industry and became interested in that part of the building business." Foster also said he has a long-standing friendship with Paco Jordan and they both felt it was a good time for Foster to step in. "I’ve always admired Paco and the manner in which he built his company," Foster said. "So I’m very pleased to be a partner in this new construction company with him and Darren, and I believe Jordan Foster Construction will earn some significant achievements in the industry."
Darren Woody, who has been a partner with Paco Jordan for the past 14 years, will head the new company as president and CEO. "Our company is excited about this new venture," said Woody. "The combined strength of CF Jordan and Paul Foster will enable the new company to carry on the great traditions of CF Jordan, as well as to set our sights on new objectives." Woody continued, "This will be a brand new company, but we have the advantage of built-in experience -- the management, project teams and support staff in our various offices will all remain the same, with the same commitment to doing great work for our clients. In our view, it’s an ideal scenario for succession and growth."
CF Jordan Construction will continue to perform all work currently in place, with the same teams, management and resources. All new projects started after August 8 will be performed by Jordan Foster Construction.
