Grotewiel Joins Tarlton as Safety Engineer

Tarlton Corp., a St. Louis-based general contracting and construction management firm and a member of multiple AGC chapters, has hired Evan Grotewiel as safety engineer. 
 
In his new role, Grotewiel will provide safety support to the Tarlton power and energy group, and also to additional projects. He recently served as an engineering intern at Mega Industries Corp., in Kansas City, Mo. He also brings to Tarlton industry skills and experience from his work in his family’s residential construction business, Grotewiel Construction Inc. in Rhineland, Mo.

"He will be actively promoting Tarlton’s elite safety culture in all aspects of our daily operations. Evan is initially assisting our Power & Energy teams to help Tarlton meet, and exceed, the safety performance expectations of some of our high-profile, safety sensitive clients throughout Missouri and Illinois."
 
Grotewiel holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management, with an emphasis in safety management, from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. He is a resident of St. Louis.
 
Tarlton recently completed the historic renovation of the core and shell of Wexford @4240 in St. Louis’ CORTEX District and the Olin Business School Expansion at Washington University in St. Louis. Work under way includes the Monsanto Chesterfield Village Expansion parking garage and projects for Ameren, BJC HealthCare, BioSTL, the Muny, Nordstrom, Prairie State Generating Co., the U.S. General Services Administration, Washington University and Wexford Science & Technology LLC.
