Weifield Group Contracting, a top electrical construction firm located in Denver, Colo. and an AGC of Colorado Building Chapter member, was selected from three finalists to win the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce's Small Business of the Year award, last Friday. The winners were revealed at the Denver Metro Chamber Awards luncheon held at the Exdo Events Center, in downtown Denver.
"This award is truly a realization of a vision and the hard work of the entire Weifield team," said Weifield CEO, Seth Anderson. "We want to congratulate all of our dedicated employees as well as our loyal stakeholders; we couldn’t have done it without their commitment!"
This achievement joins Weifield’s other awards and recognitions in 2014, which include two 2014 Summit awards awarded to Weifield by the Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM), for outstanding accomplishments on the Pearl Izumi electrical construction project and by Weifield’s Service team, as well as a Denver Post "Top 100 Workplaces" award which Weifield received earlier this year. This is the third consecutive year that Weifield has received a Denver Post Top Workplaces award.
"We are truly honored to have been selected as the Chamber’s Small Business of the Year," added Anderson. "We look forward to building on this achievement in the years ahead!"
