The Master Builders' Association of Western Pennsylvania (MBA) is working with the local Pittsburgh business community to promote job recruitment and retention in the region. The coalition spearheading the efforts - the Allegheny Conference on Community Development - created ImaginePittsburgh.com, a searchable job listing platform that promotes opportunities throughout the 10 counties of southwestern Pennsylvania. For the construction industry there are two primary landing pages: The Builders Guild site promotes the labor employment opportunities and the Master Builders' Association page which features the professional positions in the construction industry. Additionally, ImaginePittsburgh.com created a video on careers in the building trades. MBA also teamed with the Allegheny Conference recently to host an informational seminar on how to effectively use images in a company's social media plan.
