On Sunday, March 27, 2022, AGC Charities Inc. and Plano-based Hilti North America and Hill & Wilkinson teamed up to lead dozens of volunteers to make repairs to three South Dallas homes in partnership with Rebuilding Together North Texas. The volunteer workday at the three Cedar Crest homes is a part of the AGC Charities’ annual Operation Opening Doors project.
The volunteers who participated in yesterday's charity project are all members of AGC of America. They helped install and stain new fences, install and paint new exterior wall siding, install grab rails, build new exterior stairs, improve landscaping and renovate bathrooms. They focused on three Cedar Crest homes, all owned by aging, disabled residents. The project was organized to support Rebuilding Together North Texas, which helps rehabilitate homes for aging, disabled or veteran residents.
Thank you to all the volunteers who committed their time and effort, as well as the donors who contributed to the renovations.

Don’t miss the AGC Convention Opening General Session, which includes state of the association updates from AGC’s presidents and CEO, and keynote presentation on leadership and life by best-selling author and TED Talk speaker Neil Pasricha.
After Neil Pasricha’s wife left him and his best friend suddenly took his own life, he crash-landed in an empty downtown bachelor apartment. Just twelve months later, he was working directly for the CEO at Walmart, running the International Academy of Digital Arts and Science’s “Best Blog in the World”, and had just published The Book of Awesome which stormed the New York Times bestseller list and sold over a million copies.
The lesson was clear: resilience, change, and growth can come from times of challenge. This inspiring talk is for anybody looking for simple practical ways to lift performance to new heights.
