U.S. Department of Labor Selects Permanent Director for OSHA’s Directorate of Construction

On Sept. 16, the Department of Labor announced that Scott Ketcham has been selected as the new director of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA’s) Directorate of Construction (DOC). For more than a year, Scott has served as acting director of DOC. Over his 19 years working for OSHA, he has held various positions such as an OSHA acting deputy regional administrator, area director, assistant area director, and compliance officer and manager in offices in the Seattle, Dallas and Philadelphia regions.
