Stuff for Geography Junkies
Google offers a free download called "Google Earth." More information is available at earth.google.com. The software is free and can be downloaded on networks. Google Earth is basically a much more dynamic form of Google Maps.
Once downloaded, begin by clicking on the new desktop icon. A high-speed Internet connection (DSL or cable modem) is recommended.
• Type your address into the box at the upper left hand area of the screen.
• Click the button next to the box.
• To see the program’s full capabilities, take the product tour.
