Mailbox Sizes

Q. Would you mind sharing what size mailboxes you allow for your users and whether you do any type of email archiving?

A. We don't have anything "formal" or a device for archiving. We do allow local archive files for storage but everyone has been informed that we don't back it up and if it corrupts because your storing 1 gig worth of read receipts then you're on your own.

We have 3 post offices on our exchange server  2, 4 and 6 Gig. 75 users

A. Our average mailbox size is 2GB, about 110 users on hosted exchange platform.

Archive system includes unlimited storage for all users.

A. Office 365 is probably your best option.  25 gb mailboxes, archiving included and spam filtering.  Same features as exchange server.
