Combine My Slides

If employees or co-workers do a group project where the final product is a PowerPoint slide show, they’ll sometimes be faced with the problem of combining multiple shows together. In theory, each person in a work group could be making slides independently before combining them using a network drive or other means.
First, get all the slide shows together on one computer. In a network environment, save all the shows at the same network location. In a non-network environment, all contributors can email their show to the same person to open on the same computer. If these options aren't feasible, save all the shows to a USB drive or CD.
1) Open up all the slide shows on one computer.
2) Change the view of the slide show to the "Slide Sorter View" by clicking the button in the lower left hand corner.
3) Once in the slide sorter view, highlight or select the slides to copy to another show. Copy them by either using CTRL + C or "Edit" and "Copy" or right-clicking on them and selecting "Copy" from the menu.
4) Go to the slide show that the others will be pasted into. Switch that show to "Slide Sorter View" and click on the location where the slides will be pasted. Use CTRL + V or "Edit" and "Paste" or right-click and "Paste" from the menu.
It's a quirk in PowerPoint that the only way to copy and paste slides is in the Slide Sorter View, but once that’s common knowledge, it’s a simple process.
