Despite all the advances in screen tech over the years, most smartphones are still highly susceptible to damaged screens. Rather than try to figure out how to prevent it — say, by deploying tiny airbags or adding miniature rockets to a phone — Motorola wants damaged screens to be able to repair themselves.
