Earlier in August, AGC of America held its 10th Annual IT Forum Conference at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Chicago, Ill. This year’s event brought together more than 300 industry experts and IT professionals from around the country to one central location and allowed them to dive deep into the issue of construction technology. This year's event was built on three Pillars: IT Strategy, Security and Infrastructure.

CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY SPOTLIGHT
Fifty-four percent of highway contractors reported that motor vehicles had crashed into their construction work zones during the past year, according to the results of a new highway work zone study conducted by AGC of America. In response, association officials have launched a new mobile advertising campaign urging drivers who routinely pass through certain work zones to slow down and be alert.
