Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Randy was a student of the legendary silversmith Porter Blanchard and has been perfecting his craft for over 40 years. His stunning work is in the White House Collection of American Art, the Renwick Gallery, Oakland Museum of California, among others. In 2016, Quentin Tarantino commissioned a piece to be made for a recent film. Randy’s work has been included in important national museums and gallery exhibitions, and he is a recipient of numerous awards.

Randy is a surfer, a teacher, public speaker, a consummate craftsman, and a California treasure.

We think you will find his story compelling as well as all the stories of the uniquely creative artists in the CALIFORNIA episode.
