This custom hand-forged fallen tree design table was created by Flaherty Iron Works from Alexandria, VA. Part of the tree is heated steel hammered to look just like a fallen tree, and the design includes a small bird’s nest with an intricate bird and egg. A structural engineer came to the site to sign off on the floor structure, since it had to be able to support the weight of the table, totaling 1300 pounds with glass included.
