This impressive project encompassed several hundred feet of fabricated steel and bronze railings. The natural stone surfaces involved were a double edged sword: while adding a distinctive beauty and unique appearance to the railing, they also led to multiple anchoring conditions and a very challenging installation overall. Engineering costs were also high due to these circumstances.
The project is also noteworthy for its implementation of a custom hydraulic press tool, which was used to form a small detail on the ends of many of the pickets and posts.
