Title of Entry: Leaf Inspired Gate

Finish Type: Painted with aluminum etching primer and marine urethane paint.

Materials Used: Aluminum gate with stainless steel brackets and hinges.

Designed jointly by fabricator/architect and totaling 515 hours of labor, the concept for this beautiful gate was given to Artisan Metal Works by the owner. The challenge of this project was ensuring that the gate would be structurally sound and able to withstand heavy usage and wind loads. Artisan Metal Works used heavy duty weight bearing hinges and strong structural aluminum material to ensure it would serve its owner well for many years to come.
