This project also consisted of hot rolled steel, aluminum plate with custom clear coat system specific for this project. All veil walls were fabricated in the shop, with fixed finish. The install consists of aluminum panels with epoxy only and no fasteners.

Almost 200,000 jobsites neglected to file their 2016 annual injury and illness log summaries by Dec. 31, breaking compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) new electronic record-keeping rule, according to Bloomberg Environment. OSHA had anticipated 350,000 worksites to file, but only 153,653 did, in addition to nearly 61,000 worksites that were not required to file electronically but did so.
 
 
   
China has filed a World Trade Organization complaint challenging U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff hike on imported steel and aluminum, the trade body said Tuesday. China has requested 60 days of consultations with the United States on the steel and aluminum dispute, according to the WTO. If that fails, the next step could be for Beijing to request a ruling from a panel of trade experts.

There is a serious new problem in the workplace, and it has nothing to do with downsizing, global competition, pointy-haired bosses, stress or greed. Instead, it is the problem of distinct generations — the Veterans, the Baby Boomers, Gen X and Gen Y — working together and often colliding as their paths cross. Individuals with different values, different ideas, different ways of getting things done and different ways of communicating in the workplace have always existed. So, why is this becoming a problem now?
 
 
   
While we all love summer, it isn’t without its challenges for workers. Each year, thousands of North American employees suffer severe heat-related illnesses. Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) reported that heat and its related workplace problems kills over thirty American workers annually. Heat related dangers include heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Hot weather can raise body temperatures to dangerously high levels—especially in labor-intensive activities where direct exposure to the sun occurs. OSHA recommends the following tips for keeping cool on the job in the summer:
