This breathtaking railing from Wiemann Metalcraft demonstrates the outstanding craftsmanship and creativity of everyone involved in the process. The intricate layers are eye-catching, and aptly evoke the project's name - Ribbon Railings - with their soft undulating design.
The ribbons were designed in CAD, and then cut by laser. Texture was applied cold using custom dies for the power hammer. And finally, on the Pullmax machine, the soft wave shapes of the ribbon were formed, again cold.
A large challenge that was expertly hurdled was mixing finishes and avoiding heat for forming and welding.

According to President Trump's executive order released in July, employers now have the responsibility of collecting and paying back deferred payroll taxes. The order was issued after Congress could not come to an agreement on extending COVID-19 stimulus benefits. Participating employers are advised not to withold the 6.2% payroll tax owed by employees each pay period (which covers their part of Social Security taxes). While this gives employees a larger paycheck up front, it may cause problems for both employers and employees in the months to come.
