NOMMA members can submit their projects in the Ernest Wiemann Top Job competition. Compete for awards in 17 categories in this peer judged contest. If you and another member worked together on a project, you and your partner can get recognized for your collaborative work as a “joint venture.”
Updates for Top Job:
- A printed magazine of all the 2022 Top Job entries is being created for distribution at METALfab 2022.
- The publication will be used to assist with onsite voting.
- It will also be mailed and emailed to the membership for those not in attendance.
The changes will require an entry deadline of Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Because of the earlier submission deadline, there is one set of entry fees of $90 per submission and $140 per joint venture. Projects must be work that has been completed within the last two years. A maximum of 5 submissions is allowed, and companies cannot submit more than 1 entry in a category.

Reuters This Monday, aluminum prices hit $3,000 a tonne for the first time in about 13 years. The increase is attributed largely to output restrictions in China (aluminum's biggest producer), fuelled by anxiety that supplies of the material will run short. So far this year, the price of aluminum used in packaging and construction has climbed 50%.
