Grants can be used to cover expenses related to education programming, such as speaker fees and room rentals. If you don’t have a chapter in your area, two NOMMA member companies can apply for a grant to host an educational program.

To gather feedback on the type of work that NOMMA members are working on, the Code Advocacy Committee has developed a quick survey. Our Code Advocacy Membership Survey wants to find out the type of projects our members are working on (such as elevator enclosure, sky bridges etc.)
The information will help NOMMA gather data on the necessity of pursuing a committee position with the Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities, ICC (ASC A117). This survey will only take a couple of minutes to complete.

Title of Entry: Nickel-Silver Main Gate Material: Hollow stainless steel sub-structure and custom nickel-silver profiles Finish: Brushed nickel-silver with clear lacquer Total Labor Hours:2000
This stunning, monumental sliding gate features a motorized door on left side and a fixed grille on the right. The gross weight is approximately 24,000 pounds, with impressive dimensions: 25' wide by 18' 11" for the gate; and 10'3" by 14' for the door and grille.
The gate was so large that it had to be delivered in two parts. With the incredible amount of work involved, including countless steps to craft and finish all the pieces and take time for careful, detailed work, the project required about 2,000 hours to complete.

SupplyChainBrain
Market volatility continues to impact the metals industry, propelling the search for new risk management and revenue growth solutions. To help combat the effects of the pandemic, global labor/transportation shortages and international conflicts, innovative supply chain trends are becoming more popular. These include:
- Digital technologies - such as digital marketplaces, AI, and collaborative tools.
- Global trade - growing interest continues, although the trade system is more complex now due to factors such as tariff and trade policy changes and fluctuating currency exchange rates.
- Sustainable business practices - efforts to reduce waste, improve efficiency and employ renewable energy sources such as wind and solar are a few of the top focuses in 2023.

Year after year, Alliant Business Insurance continues to be a top MSP benefit for members. Here's a testimonial from one NOMMA member about their experience:
"I wanted to express my gratitude at the level of service I am receiving from Alliant Insurance. More specifically from Andy Stergiou and the NOMMA Insurance Program. Andy was able to provide a comprehensive insurance program, that provided the necessary coverages, for a lower price. Not only have our premiums been decreased by a significant amount with better coverage but the service has been great. Kudos to the NOMMA Board of Directors for starting this program!"
