This forged-aluminum sculpture represents the yearslong partnership between NOMMA and the American Fence Association (AFA). The sculpture, aptly named Ascend, showcases a bird taking flight, meant to symbolize the potential new heights both businesses are able to reach by joining forces in the industry.
Originally crafted by Jack Klahm and Phil Heermance, Ascend is proudly on display at the AIDI headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ.
Eventually, the sculpture will "migrate" across the country and tell the story of NOMMA and AFA’s ongoing united venture, but for now, AIDI is excited to house Ascend and welcomes visitors to observe the piece and enjoy its significance.

Ransomware continues to be among the most popular and profitable forms of cyberattack, and the manufacturing industry is one of the top targets.
Manufacturers tend to pay when attacked because they know that even a small breach can wreak havoc on everything from production to distribution.
Additionally, some manufacturing companies aren't taking cybersecurity seriously enough, which leaves them vulnerable.
