An announcement was sent on October 4 to inform everyone that 2024 will be our last year of co-location with the American Fence Association’s (AFA) FENCETECH. The decision was made with the utmost respect for our long-standing partnership and the shared goals we have pursued together over the years. The separation is not a sign of any discord. It is a strategic move to better serve our respective memberships and create more tailored and focused experiences for participants.
Both organizations are committed to making as seamless a transition as possible. This separation marks an exciting new chapter for NOMMA.

This incredible trio of trees was designed as a functional work of art. A focal point in a popular downtown park environment, the trees are used as a barrier to prevent visitors from reaching into the high-pressure streams of water.
The asymmetric shape of the tree structure features a unique hourglass shape, and they are 15 feet tall, with a 12-foot diameter at the top and an 8-foot diameter at the base. Each tree also includes an impressive gate, allowing maintenance access for the dancing water jets and lights. Surrounded by an interactive splash pad, the gorgeous sculptural trees are a major draw for all who wish to enjoy the choreographed dancing water.
The project required extensive collaboration, from bidding and drawing to fabrication, finish and installation. The final sculpture is now a beloved part of the downtown area, and will continue to bring joy to all who visit it for many years to come.

Fifty-four percent of metal forming companies said they anticipate a decrease in general economic activity over the next three months, according to the Precision Metalforming Association's (PMA) October 2023 Business Conditions Report. Ten percent of metal forming companies predicted an increase in their activity - up from 8% in September.
