NOMMA is looking for dedicated individuals interested in becoming chapter leaders. Chapter leaders work to strengthen connections and bring members from their local areas together. Volunteering as a chapter leader is a great way to network with fellow members while increasing your involvement with NOMMA. Below is the list of NOMMA chapters. NOMMA member Grant York of York Metals Fabricators led a peer discussion about Project Management. Grant was joined by facilitators Lory Wells and Eric Cuper as they shared their experiences and tips. The group talked about the strengths and challenges that have come with Project Management. The Biden administration is encouraging businesses that have been hit hard by the coronavirus to take advantage of one signifcant tax break, the employee retention credit. First established in the CARES Act in March 2020, the tax break was expanded in the December 2020 relief package and the March 2021 American Rescue Plan Act. Eligible businesses can receive a refundable tax credit of 50 percent of up to $10,000 in qualified wages for each employee in 2020.
