NPMA Meets with Federal Trade Commission to Discuss Trademark Infringement by Fraudulent Group

Last week NPMA met with the Federal Trade Commission to discuss the fraudulent activities of the illegal solicitation of the National Pest Maintenance Professional Association (“NPMPA”, formerly the “National Pest Management Professional Association”). We highlighted NPMPA’s infringement on NPMA’s registered trademark, and that their activities also constitutes false and misleading advertising, consumer fraud, trade disparagement, and other improper conduct.
