Members Advised to Review Their Marketing Photos

When developing websites and marketing collateral, it’s easy to download images from the internet and assume they are in the public domain and may be used without any restrictions. You may not know it, but you could be infringing a copyright. It’s not uncommon for a PMP to get a letter from an attorney demanding payment for using a copyrighted photo and threatening litigation if the company does not settle. It can cost thousands of dollars. NPMA encourages you to review your websites and marketing collateral to be sure you are not infringing copyrights.
Don’t forget, if you need high-quality pest photos, NPMA has a FREE photo library of professional pest images available on my.npmapestworld.org for members to use on their websites and marketing materials. Please contact us at npma@pestworld.org if you need assistance logging in.
