NPMA Releases First in Series of Public Policy Resources

As part of NPMA Public Policy Strategic Plan approved earlier this year, NPMA has committed to providing resources for the industry to better advocate on our priorities in states and at the federal level. The first one pager has been released, and covers “How to Schedule A Hill Meeting”. Through this document, you can easily determine who represents you in Congress, and how to schedule a meeting with them or their staff, including email templates for visit requests. While many NPMA members have come to visit with their Representatives in DC for years, others are new, and NPMA wants to ensure than any member of the industry feels confident on the Hill. The next resource will cover how to do a meeting with a policymaker and will be released soon.
