NPMA Co-Chairs RISE LAC Preemption Workgroup Meeting Hosted at NPMA Office

Formed at the RISE LAC meeting in Arizona back in August the RISE LAC Preemption Workgroup met at NPMA Headquarters in Fairfax, VA to discuss, strategize and prepare for proposed pesticide preemption roll backs in state legislatures. The workgroup will meet again in January. The following states that are of interest include:
- No Preemption: AK, HI, ME, MD, NV
- Proposed Repeals of Preemption: CO, CT, FL, IL, MA, MN, NY, and WI
- Legal Challenges and States of Interest: CA, MO, and OR
