For the first time in its history, the U.S. EPA Pesticide Policy Dialogue Committee (PPDC) was held as a remote, virtual meeting. The structural pest control industry is represented by NPMA’s V.P. of Technical and Regulatory Affairs, Jim Fredericks. Topics included a detailed discussion of the Office of Pesticide Programs’ response to COVID-19 pandemic, the pesticide risk assessment process, emerging technologies, updates on ongoing hot topics (i.e. neonicotinoid, pollinator protection, certification and training, etc.). Meeting materials, including copies of presentations are available here.
