EPA Holds Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee Meeting

Last week the EPA held a meeting of the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC). The PPDC is a Federal Advisory Committee that provides input to the Office of Pesticide Programs on policy issues. NPMA is represented on the committee along with stakeholders from a wide variety of perspectives.
The meeting focused on the formation of four working groups – Pesticide Resistance Management, Emerging Agricultural Technologies, Farmworker and Clinician Training, and Emerging Pathogens workgroup. NPMA has requested representation on the Resistance Management workgroup and submitted additional experts for consideration.
