Industry Awards Presented at PestWorld 2021

During its annual awards ceremony at PestWorld, several key awards were presented, including the Pinnacle Award, the Women of Excellence Award, the Young Entrepreneur Award, the NPMA Gives Award, and Committee of the Year Award and the Chairperson of the Year Award.
Joe Thomas, Arrow Exterminators, was awarded the Pinnacle Award. Emily Thomas Kendrick accepted the award on behalf of her father, who couldn’t be present. The award, NPMA’s most coveted and prestigious accolade, honors an individual who has contributed not only to the success of the association but to the industry as a whole over a lifetime or career.
Eve Pappas, Hoffman Exterminating Co., Inc., received the Women of Excellence Award. This award recognizes female pest management professionals who demonstrate outstanding leadership and have made notable contributions to the development and growth of other women in the industry. This award is sponsored by Target Specialty Products.
Nick Mitchell, Mitchell Pest Solutions, was the recipient of the Young Entrepreneur Award. This award recognizes young entrepreneurs (40 years of age or less) working in the professional pest management industry who have helped create or develop an industry business and/or those who have stewarded a meaningful industry concept to fruition. The award is presented by Rentokil North America.
Audrey Hall accepted the NPMA Gives Award on behalf of Eco Serve Pest Solutions. This award recognizes NPMA member companies that have demonstrated leadership through their dedication and contribution to the good of the community.
The Disinfection Task Force accepted the Committee of the Year, and Marie Horner, Arrow Exterminators, chairwoman of the PestVets Council, was the recipient of the Committee Chair of the Year Award.
