HUD 99A & B Update

The NPMA 99A&B forms are currently undergoing review in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act. This is a periodic review that all Federally required forms need that coincides with the expiration date of 9/30/22. There is a comment period underway that will last until the end of October, NPMA is preparing to submit comments on behalf of the industry. Following the comment period, HUD will then need to submit the form to the Office of Management and Budget for approval. In the meantime, the forms with an expiration date of 9/30/22 will remain valid. We do not expect a new form approval before the end of the year. We have requested a more formal confirmation on this from HUD but haven’t received a response as of September 30. NPMA will continue to monitor and seek additional confirmation from HUD.
