Last week, NPMA staff attended an event to welcome new members of the Congressional Black Caucus. Later in the week, we had a one-on-one breakfast with Rep. Jim Baird (R-IN-14), who serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Research, and Biotechnology. And finally, NPMA staff attended a fundraiser for Sen. Deb Fisher (R-NE) and Sen. John Thune (R-SD), who are both influential members of the Senate Committee on Agriculture.
NPMA staff are also following up on all action items and follow-ups from NPMA members' Legislative Day meetings. Thank you to everyone who filled out our meeting feedback form!
