Last week, NPMA submitted official comments on behalf of the structural pest management industry in response to the U.S. EPA’s response to their proposed document
Pyrethroids and Pyrethrins Ecological Risk Mitigation Proposal for 23 Chemicals. This proposal could negatively impact the way that members use the most common class of insecticides. NPMA provided alternative solutions to five of EPA’s recommendations, including spot treatment definitions, proposed rain-related application prohibitions, runoff statements, perimeter band treatments and crack and crevice language.
