The Pest Management Foundation strives to fund research that can be used by pest management professionals to make their business better. An example of the kind of practical research funded by the Foundation is a project currently underway at the University of Kentucky under the supervision of Dr. Zach DeVries. With the assistance of his students, Dr. DeVries is currently using a Pest Management Foundation grant to explore these questions and determine how temperature and humidity affect baits and how bait age affects cockroach behavior and bait consumption.
