2022 PSA program garners 27 million impressions in January
The Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), the consumer marketing arm of NPMA, is known for its year-round communications campaigns to educate the American public about the value of partnering with a pest control professional for their homes and businesses.
One vehicle they use to drive home critical health messaging is public service announcements, a cornerstone program in the group’s marketing and communications strategic mix. As a non-profit organization, PPMA is able to compete for donated ad inventory and air PSAs in top media markets across the U.S. These award-winning campaigns deliver factual and compelling health information to consumers and encourage them to learn more at PestWorld.org.
In its most recent PPMA Update, a monthly newsletter shared with investors, the group announced January results of 10,000 new PSA airings – a 16% increase YoY — resulting in over 27 million impressions. PPMA is receiving strong broadcast support across the U.S. with several campaigns currently running in market. Its “Abstract” PSA, produced the strongest results across radio and TV with nearly 1,500 airings last month, generating over 9.6 million impressions.
Fox Business Network continues to support the campaigns and stations in many of the top media markets have also continued to air the spots, including stations and affiliates in Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Miami, Atlanta and other areas nationwide. This past month also brought in new radio station placements in Waco, TX and Richmond, VA.
