After more than two years of virtual meetings, NPMA staff met (in person) with the Director of U.S. EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs, Ed Messina. The meeting took place in OPPs new headquarters location in Washington, DC. NPMA was informed that our meeting with OPP was the very first in-person meeting with a non-governmental organization at the new location. During the meeting, NPMA discussed topics including the registration review status for rodenticides and structural fumigants, future training workshop topics, and state pesticide preemption. If you have questions about these topics, contact Jim Fredericks at jfredericks@pestworld.org.
