NPMA is working closely with several other national associations to gather signatures on a letter of support for H.R. 7266. This bill would codify pesticide preemption at the federal level, ensuring that state agencies would take the lead on regulating pesticides across a state rather than localities. NPMA has been working closely with state and national associations in and outside of the industry to gather signatories. The deadline is today, May 3rd, and we have gathered more than 100 signatures already, with more in process at the time of writing. This letter will be sent to Congress next week, showing the national support across a myriad of industries for this important bill.
