On Tuesday May 17th, a discussion was held entitled “U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Workplan – Balancing Wildlife Protection and Responsible Pesticide Use”. During the discussion, Deputy Assistant Administrator Li spoke about key actions taken in the Biden-Harris Administration on ESA and FIFRA, summarized the challenges discussed in the Workplan, discussed the Workplan’s four strategies and the actions to implement each, a preview of upcoming Workplan actions; and he listed opportunities for the regulated community to continue offering feedback on the Workplan and to help with implementation. The discussion was moderated by Baker Botts’ Partner and former Assistant Administrator for EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, Alexandra Dunn.
