Earlier this week, NPMA staff cooperated with the National Association of Landscape Professionals to educate U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) about the unique pesticide use patterns that professional applicators rely on to protect public health, food, and property. The virtual meeting included USFWS staff that are responsible for Endangered Species Act pesticide evaluations. This introductory meeting was extremely positive and is intended to lay the groundwork for future in-depth workshops on rodenticides, neonicotinoids, and other pesticide products.
