Last week, NPMA sent a letter to the EPA that outlined high-level alternative mitigation measures that the Agency could consider in lieu of an RUP classification. In addition to the alternative mitigation measures, NPMA also suggested many partnerships that EPA could form with industry to help achieve the Agency’s objectives. A few examples of these partnerships are working with the Agency to develop refreshed rodenticide stewardship training, in addition to annual training for state and federal regulators and inspectors. NPMA is set to meet with EPA on July 25th to discuss our proposed alternative mitigation measures and suggested partnerships.
