This week, NPMA’s public policy team attended the Association of Structural Pest Control Regulatory Officials (ASPCRO) Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada. In attendance were representatives from State Lead Agencies, staff from EPA, and NPMA members. The conference featured informative sessions on EPA’s PIDs on Rodenticides, Vulnerable Species Pilot Program, and Sulfuryl Fluoride Early Mitigation.
Also, this week, NPMA staff attended the Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment (RISE) Annual Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. RISE is the trade association that represents manufacturers, formulators, distributors, and other industry leaders involved with specialty pesticides and fertilizers. During the meeting, NPMA staff were able to participate in productive and collaborative conversations with registrants, applicators, and other pest management stakeholders.
