NPMA member companies continue to report challenges obtaining N95 respirators through normal supply chain methods. NPMA staff has communicated these challenges to EPA and has sought guidance on alternative PPE when N95 masks are unavailable. Currently, no exemption or relaxation of PPE label requirements have been made by EPA. The American Association of Pesticide Safety Educators has develop a webpage to help provide information about PPE which can be accessed here. It should be noted that PPE that is more protective than that specified on the label is generally permissible as a substitute.
Take advantage of early bird registration rates through Friday, September 25 and join NPMA for the first-ever virtual PestWorld! This virtual platform will give you the opportunity to make your convention schedule fit your needs from the comfort of your home or office. There will be a 24/7 interactive exhibit hall and cutting-edge education that will earn you valuable recertification credits, and you'll have a unique opportunity to engage with inspirational keynote speakers and participate in some unique networking opportunities!
